RBT

Registered Behavior Technician

RBT stands for Registered Behavior Technician. An RBT is a paraprofessional who is certified in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and works under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA).

RBTs work with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, and other behavioral or learning challenges. They provide direct behavioral therapy services, implement behavior intervention plans, and collect data on the individual’s progress.

Responsabilities:

• The RBT will complete all documentation required to provide behavior assistance service.

• The RBT will complete monthly documents: Summary report, caregiver competency check, data collection sheets (behavior targeted for reduction and replacements) Service log, Receipt of data.

• The RBT will remarks: assistance must coordinate with analyst to have all document properly signed and reviewed before turning items in. BA must provide required information to their analyst so that they can complete their reports. Office Staff is not responsible of providing any of these documents.

• The RBT will Implement BASP as written.

• The RBT will collect and record data based on client behavior and skill acquisition program.

• The RBT will attend clinical discussion meeting and comply with decisions and deadline as agreed upon.

• The RBT will attend Office mandatory meetings.

• The RBT will maintain all documents like data sheets, service logs, competency checks and BASP during every working session so that they can be supervised at any time. 

• The RBT will assist BCBAs and BCaBAs in the preparation of client materials.

• The RBT will assist BCBAs and BCaBAs with behavior reduction assessments and skills acquisition.

BCaBA

Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst

A BCaBA (Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst) is a professional who is certified in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and works under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). BCaBAs play an important role in the delivery of ABA services, as they are often responsible for implementing behavior intervention plans and collecting data on the progress of individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, and other behavioral or learning challenges.

Responsabilities:

• The BCaBA is responsible for assisting in the completion assessments, behavior plans and re-assessments

• The BCaBA is responsible for turning in assessments, behavior plans and re-assessments by the assigned due date

• The BCaBA is responsible for completing any corrections to the assessments, behavior plans and or re-assessment by the deadline given by your supervisor

• The BCaBA will ensure the RBT is collecting Data and creating graphs

• The BCaBA will complete intake documentation with the families and update them as neede• The BCaBA will report any grievances the family may have 

• The BCaBA is responsible for conducting parent and RBT competency’s

• The BCaBA will make plan revisions as needed due to lack of progress

• The BCaBA will conduct parent training as needed or as identified in the Behavior plan

• The BCaBA will provide supervision and oversight to RBT’s on designated cases

• The BCaBA will sign/validate RBT logs or supervision forms

• The BCaBA will receive supervision by a BCBA and per BACB standards

• The BCaBA will comply with company policies. 

BCBA

Board Certified Behavior Analyst

A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is a highly trained professional who specializes in the application of behavior analysis to support individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, and other behavioral or learning challenges. BCBA’s are responsible for developing, implementing, and supervising behavior intervention plans that are designed to teach new skills and reduce problematic behaviors.

Responsabilities:

• Conduct Functional Assessments.

• Annual Progress Report (nine months as from the date first recorded visit or in the of Medicaid Waver case 90 days before the WSC Support plan effective date). 

• Following annual progress report (one year as from the date of first Annual Progress Report). 

• Design materials for an effective implementation of the BASP. 

• Complete monthly documents: summary report, caregiver competency check, data collection sheets (behavior targeted for reduction and replacements), service log, receipt of data.

• Explain BASP to caregivers (giving modeling and feedback as required).

• Train and supervise caregivers and Registered Behavior Technicians in the implementation of BASP.

• Direct supervise implementation of BASP.

• Attend clinical discussion meetings and comply with decisions and deadlines as agreed upon.

• Attend mandatory office meetings.

LMHC

Licensed Mental Health Counselor

An LMHC (Licensed Mental Health Counselor) is a mental health professional who is licensed to provide counseling and therapy services to clients. LMHCs typically work with individuals, couples, families, and groups to help them manage mental and emotional issues and improve their overall well-being.

LCSW

Licensed Clinical Social Worker

LMFT

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

An LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist) is a mental health professional who is licensed to provide counseling and therapy services to couples and families. LMFTs are trained to address the mental and emotional issues that can arise within the context of relationships and family dynamics.

LMFTs may also provide individual therapy to address mental health concerns that are impacting relationships and family dynamics.

CNA

Certified Nursing Assistant

A CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) is a healthcare professional who provides basic care for patients in a variety of healthcare settings, such as hospitals, nursing homes, and home health agencies. CNAs work under the supervision of a licensed nurse and assist patients with activities of daily living and other basic healthcare needs.

HHA

Home Health Aide

An HHA (Home Health Aide) is a healthcare professional who provides in-home care and assistance to individuals who need help with activities of daily living (ADLs) and other basic healthcare needs. HHAs work under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse and are typically employed by home health agencies or hospice organizations.
